Daily Photo - Crested Gecko Diet

There are a few commercial diets available for crested geckos. The one I prefer is by Repashy. I'm not convinced that a complete diet really can come from a powder you mix with water, but all my crested geckos do like it, and I consider it higher quality that just mixing fruit baby food with supplements. My four all lap it up in between cricket feedings. I'm always impressed by the tongue that comes out of their mouths. Crested geckos have a round pad on the ends of their tongues that helps them lap up fruits and nectar.

George Washington Bridge, no idea why but now it is letting me upload pictures.

Daily Photo - New Jersey

There would be a nice pic here, but at the moment blogger isn't happy and isn't letting me do much. As I'm not home I'll deal with it when I get home tomorrow sometime.
Edited to add photo, and fix font.

Daily Photo - Scary Pumpkin

Isn't it nice how I leave these in front of my house for a month. It matches Thanksgiving quite well.

Daily Photo - Mutual Fascination

Apparently Abby just figured out there is a snake in that cage in my bedroom. The corn snake seemed equally interested.

Daily Photo - Sand Boa

Must Stop Missing Days... Kenyan Sand Boa after I dug him out of his bedding. It really is like owning an invisible pet. He only appears when food is waiting, otherwise I never see this guy. He is actually getting ready to shed, so should look even nicer in a few days. I dug him out to look for shed skin so I could decide if it was time to fee him or not.

Daily Photo - I Beat It

I finally figured out what line of code was eating my Spry menus and adding 2 pixels of space along the top of every one. I'm not completely sure why it was doing it, but it's fixed and over finally. As for today's photo I finally spotted a female of those nasty winter moths that have been out the last few days. The females can't fly. They normally climb tree trunks and try to entice the winged males to them.

Daily Photo - Finally Done Tagging

After weeks of putting it off I'm done digging through my Utah pics. Admittedly all I did was flip through each one and label what it was and if it was in focus. I only deleted the wildly crappy ones. I still need to do a more thorough cleaning.

Daily Photo - Chukar

I'm finally finishing labeling and checking through my Utah photos. I found this one bird picture I took at Capitol Reef and finally looked it up. Apparently it is a common species that I'd just never known about before. Turns out it isn't even native, but introduced by game bird hunters.

Daily Photo - So Happy Together

Anyone who has met my dogs would know this is significant. They're both in the same picture and neither of them is looking possessed. Admittedly it isn't an awesome picture, but I can try harder now that I know their constant battle of one up man ship can be interrupted if I have hot dogs. Most of these attempted pictures devolve into a dog wrestling match.

Daily Photo - Abby

Not a fish, and not a leaf, let's have a party. If only she'd stop scratching her nose up every few weeks. I'm still coding, but it's getting a bit less intense. All the old CSS is gone, and I just need to make sure all the calls to it are gone too.

Daily Photo - SAE Mouth

It was either another fish or some more leaf veins. I'm painfully recoding bits of a ten year old website, so haven't been getting out much. Also random fact. All the images of the site have a ratio of 176 px x 132 px. This is based on the ratio of a digital camera on a camcorder I used to use. The camera was 1.4 mega pixels. You'd think I would have updated, but nope. If I want to keep the thousand pics without redoing them I need to keep the silly ratio. More random. The pic is of the mouth of my Siamese Algae Eater. It is less than 1/2" across, and until this picture I'd never noticed the scrapers.

Daily Photo - Harlequin Rasbora

I'm kind of wishing I still had 15 tanks full of fish. Only two doesn't have as much variety as I would like. BTW this is me avoiding trying to puzzle out why Dream Weaver CSS makes my SPRY menu weird in IE.

More distracting coding sucking up my time. Here's a fish.

Daily Photo - Betta

I spent today redesigning some of my websites. One of them has hundreds of old pics I took of fish. That led me to trying to get a good photo of my betta. Out of 75 almost focused shots this was the best. That's what I get for trying to shoot through plastic.

Daily Photo - Molting

Max is busy dropping feathers everywhere and grooming the new feather sheaths off. This makes for a demanding little bird who wants nothing but for me to scratch her head constantly. Whenever she's out she is either shrieking or poking my hands trying to get me to loosen the feathers on her head.
