Hostas are much too hardy

While doing some yard work for my aunt I came across some bags of hostas. she was pretty sure they were from this year, but they could have been from last year. They were in a garage. One bag was completely rotted, and some of the others had really pale green leaves sticking out of them. I potted them up since putting them in the ground in their condition seemed cruel. I let them sit around inside until the leaves greened up a bit then put them outside in shade. This is one of them on 5/26 when I potted them up.

This is this morning 6/14.

I'm kind of impressed. Next year they should look a little more normal. There was another that was just roots that put up leaves yesterday.
